CNY Pride Co-Presidents’ Statement

CNY Pride is honored to host this free family-friendly outdoor parade and festival, returning in person for the first time since 2019 with the theme of “Together Again.” Pride is an invitation to celebrate and learn about the CNY LGBTQIA+ community and our allies. These events provide visibility to our greater LGBTQIA+ community, especially our youth, offering proof that it is possible to live a happy, healthy, and meaningful life here in Central New York. Pride gatherings are critical to ensure the safety, legacy, and future of the LGBTQIA+ community.

“It is a privilege to organize these events in the name of love for every person under the LGBTQIA+ rainbow. We invite the public to join us in this beautiful act of our community coming together again. Pride is an invitation to celebrate love for yourself, other people, and the resiliency, creativity, and vibrance of our community and supporters,” said CNY Co-Presidents Jess Posner (she/they) and Koy Adams (he/they).
