SAGE Upstate stands as a beacon of empowerment and community for older LGBTQIA+ adults across Central New York, providing a vital, affirming space that combats isolation through health programs, education, and social activities. Since 1997, this indispensable non-profit has worked tirelessly to ensure that LGBTQIA+ elders—who are often overlooked—are seen, respected, and supported, providing, through its inclusive programming and dedicated Advocacy and Education, a vibrant community hub. By championing inclusivity across 7 counties, providing critical services, and fostering a loving, welcoming atmosphere, SAGE Upstate transforms lives, honoring the pioneers who built the foundation of the local LGBTQIA+ community.
