The mission of the Cortland LGBTQ Center is to create a visible and empowered community through education, advocacy, resource enhancement, & linkages to services for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer-identified people. The coordinator’s name is Mike Doughty, and the sexual health educator is Regina Cuddeback . We provide a variety of monthly groups for various populations, a library for people to borrow fiction and nonfiction LGBTQ+ books, and help find resources for people in the community.
Hours: Tuesday through Friday 2PM to 5 PM. We also offer 1 on 1 meetings by appointment with our coordinator to talk privately about any topics you may need to talk about. These meetings are NOT clinical/therapy, but a way to connect and hear feedback from someone within the community.
